About us
Joint is Where Ideas Meet Their Makers
Joint is a nimble collective of Producers, Filmmakers and Artists who thrive on quick turnarounds and evolving deliverables. We engage at any level necessary – development, previz and testing, production and post – through final delivery. We believe an end-to-end creative partner should embrace the fluid environment of content creation today without compromising production value, by offering a high level of staff and independent talent, by thinking differently about production challenges, and leaning into stewardship for our brands. Here are some faces in the New York office:

Michelle Carman
Executive Producer
Hi! I’m Michelle. I came to W+K in 2011 from J. Walter Thompson, strangely the same year I got my first grey hair. It was on my eyebrow. Joint NY was a single room with a dripping AC, an editor, assistant, and content manager who’s office was the closest next to the bathroom.
We had one client, ESPN. I leaned into my background as an agency broadcast producer to try and build a place that I might have found helpful myself in earlier years, a facility that was easy on price and familiarity, but big on professionalism and talent. Joint has come such a long way, now a legitimate production arm for WKNY, a small but righteous 2d/3d animation offering, and an editorial division with talent to rival the best in the city. When I’m not bragging about Joint, I’m woodworking in my Catskill cabin, making soap, traveling, or throwing my son around, sorry, throwing a football around, WITH my son.

Matt Burke
Senior Editor
A San Francisco native, I discovered editing when I moved to New York City ten years ago. I quickly fell in love with the meditative, sensitive process and became inspired by the chance to evoke emotions within an audience. The son of a ballerina, I have an intuitive sense for the emotional qualities of dynamic movement and how capturing the gaze of a viewer is an important part of storytelling. I’ve worked in a variety of formats ranging from commercial to documentary, experimental art film, music videos, and a TV pilot that went to the SXSW film festival. I’m lucky to have a relationship with a craft, and I’m proud to have that at Joint, where I’ve been since 2018.

Liz Regan
Senior Producer
I will be a New Yorker until the day I move to Ireland. As a spiritual seeker with a fairly psychotic (my word) passion for music and reservoirs of practical knowledge, I’m a natural born producer. You were probably twelve when I co-founded The Color Machine, a small production company inside a fascinating building in BK. There, I produced and edited branded and documentary content until my son Julian was born, and I changed careers entirely. For five years, I independently ran the US operation for UK start-up Pirate.com, opening 3 new locations in NYC and 2 in Los Angeles. During Covid. Remember: psychotic about music. After curating all live events and showcases I exited Pirate and found myself back on set with brands like RIVIAN and GMC, this time consulting and implementing sustainable production. Then, in spring of 2023, I was hired to cover Michelle Carman during her sabbatical. After six months, I became a full time WKNY employee. This place was my north star, where I always wanted to be. Throughout this career odyssey, I have been an award-winning Mermaid.

Camm Neely
Editor
After earning my B.A in Culture and Media from The New School, I worked for a public relations start-up and a media non-profit, before eventually turning to advertising. I began my career in production in 2015, learning the ins and outs of production and post at a hybrid creative agency/production company in NYC. My first job as a post producer was creating animated and live-action in-stadium hype videos for the Golden State Warriors.
I started freelancing for JOINT in the summer of 2019 and joined full-time in January 2020. Since then, I’ve post-produced broadcast and social campaigns for Ford, Michelob Ultra, Duracell, Facebook, Bud Light, Jordan Brand, and McDonalds, as well as W+K pro bono projects, sizzles, OOHs, pitches, and everything in-between. I am a die hard Yankees fan and my happy place is under a palm tree (beach or desert) surrounded by puppies and mezcal.

Naheem Adio
Producer
My name is Naheem Adio Kujenya. I’m a filmmaker from Staten Island, New York. Having worked professionally as a filmmaker since 2008, I’m now a Post Producer and Post Supervisor. I have experience in both short-form and long-form content, post-supervising music videos for record labels including Atlantic Records, Sony Music, Interscope & RCA, and commercials for brands including PayPal, Nike, McDonalds, Ford & Major League Baseball. I’ve worked as producer with ad agencies, creative agencies and production companies alike. You can see more about me on my personal website. I’m excited to meet you!

Elaine Green
Assistant Editor (and Cat Enthusiast)
Hey there, I’m Elaine. Born and raised in Brooklyn, my eye for editing began during the days of Windows Movie Maker. City adventures with friends and family reunion recaps were passion projects I worked on as a way to relive those memories. After receiving my education in tech, I decided to switch gears and turn what used to be my hobby into a career. Now I’ve been working professionally as an AE for over 3 years. When I’m not organizing footage (among other things) for work, I enjoy making costumes and capturing my favorite convention moments on video.

Ben Vaughn
Content Delivery Specialist
Hello there friends! I am Ben Vaughn. I started doing work here in the early days – mid 2006! That era brought some changes to the delivery needs of a burgeoning HDTV market and I was tapped to create the specific content needed by media outlets. As the tapes turned into files and the media went from small to large and on to every social format you can imagine – I keep the quality standards we have always produced, delivering media of nearly any type, to nearly anywhere, for any screen. With the advent of accessibility standards around the globe we maintain strict controls on the client’s vision with an eye for brand protection in an ever evolving media landscape. As the industry evolves – we evolve – to keep the constant drive for eyes on media and customer engagement at the forefront of the industry.

Alexandra Kenny
Operations Coordinator
Oh hi, didn’t see you there! I was welcomed to WK/Joint with open arms back in 2020; 1 week before we went into lockdown and the pandemic started – talk about serendipity! I graduated college in 2019 with my bachelors in Digital Media and was able to secure some freelance work at NBC before my full-time adventure. I work under Michelle Carman as an Operations Coordinator in Joint and oversee our formatting and delivery department, Lil’ Joint! I also travel to shoots occasionally and am the eyes and ears on the ground for backend production needs. I like to consider myself a mashup of the glue + Joint/Lil’ Joint’s biggest cheerleader. Everyday is something different here & I’m always looking forward to the latest projects + the happy hours don’t hurt!

Kari Lewis
Senior Producer
After nearly a decade at a small boutique agency, I dove head first into freelancing, where I met this amazing team at Joint. They wooed me and asked me to make it official, so we put a ring on it in March 2021.
As senior post producer, I’ve partnered with almost every W+K account – Ford, McDonald’s, Duracell, Kraft/Heinz, HBO… need I say more? My early experiences at the boutique agency gave me a solid foundation to grow into a tech savvy, solutions-oriented, methodically organized producer. You have a small budget? I’ll find a way. You need help connecting strategy to creative execution? I can translate. If ever a problem, give me a call. We will figure it out!
Most of my free time is spent with my family hiking, road tripping, drinking wine, and soaking up sun by the lake.

Andy Barell
Editor
Yo, I’m Andy! I’ve worked full time at Joint since 2018 an editor. When I’m not making ads, I enjoy… making ads? Well kinda – I’m a Twitch Partner and influencer who works with brands to make content. I mostly stream Magic: the Gathering but I dabble in all sorts of internet activity. If you have a social or gaming related campaign, I’m your dude!

Charlie Porter
Senior Editor
I came to W+K in 2018 after a 10 year freelance editing career. Born and raised in Brooklyn NY, I recently moved with my wife and two children up to the Catskills for some nature. I’ve edited six feature films and countless shorts, docs, and commercials. I’m attracted to anything with a great story and compelling characters. I love working with great dialogue and comedic rhythms.
I started freelancing at Joint in 2018 and immediately fell in love with the people and environment. Michelle clearly wanted to build something special at Joint, and I was eager to be a part of it. The talent that we have been able to build here is special and unique to any other agency. When I’m not editing, I enjoy carpentry, fishing, and working on old cars. Damn, I sound old AF.

Spencer Cohen
Junior Editor
Hey! I’m Spencer Cohen and I’ve spent my life in/around the city. Since I got my first micro-DV camcorder as a 10th birthday gift, I knew what industry I wanted to be in. And since the day after Halloween 2019, I’ve been processing, transcoding, archiving, assisting and editing at Joint NY. I love learning new skills in the creative world like animation, VFX, cinematography, film photography and using my love of computer science to enhance my creative experiences. Catch me on the weekends driving outside the city looking for my new favorite hike, vista, junk shop or swimming hole.

Tina Wyatt
Content Delivery Specialist
My Wieden story starts in Traffic. I helped with metadata, outputs & clearance for 3ish years and then moved downstairs to the Lil Joint team. My goal at LJ was to make sure ship nights were not the 3-4am bedtimes I was having in traffic waiting for 3 social files to be output. I’m here to get files to spec, uploaded to ER, subtitles added, SRT files made, find generic files from 3 years ago, ADA test to determine if we need a drop shadow on those legal lines as efficiently as possible. Anything that you need fast, like yesterday fast, I’m here to work with you on hyper speed but also with a strong attention to detail.
When I’m not linking files to your deliverables doc, I’m probably seeing a Broadway show(lottery and rush are the best), walking along the west side highway, reading, or watching Penn State footbal. I also run social media for The Drew O’Donoghue Fund which is a foundation created by a close friend who passed away in 2014 from Adrenal Cancer. To raise money for the rare cancer we aim to spread awareness through social media, our annual golf outing and annual holiday event(which happens in NYC around the holidays). Follow us at @thedrewfund on instagram!
